Warner Theatre Building
Located in downtown Morgantown, this Art Deco building was opened by the Warner Brothers, Inc. in 1931. The Warner has been a landmark in downtown Morgantown for more than 75 years. The theatre was built with exquisite architectural design and the best interests of the guests in mind. Although the theatre was originally a single screen movie house, today the theatre has 3 auditoriums, one containing stadium style seating, and seats approximately 700 people.
Round Table acquired the building in 2004 making several major improvements with the intent of a trip to the Warner remaining "A Timeless Experience". The Warner offers high quality customer service and features primarily independent and art films with a lesser emphasis on Hollywood blockbuster films. The Warner also offers such things as theatre rentals for special events and vintage video games which may be played in the lobby. In addition to the theatre, the Warner Theatre Building has two storefront spaces which house a Carvel Ice Cream franchise and a privately owned beauty salon. Go to www.carvelmorgantown3124.com for more information on Carvel Ice Cream.
